Autumnal colours from Ljubljana

Inspiring Autumnal palette of muted, chalky pastel shades spotted out and about on the streets of Ljubljana in September. Loved the patterns in the doorways and window details mixed with all the plants dotted around the city.

Lisbon tiles

Last week my sisters took me to Lisbon for a belated birthday treat. Having visited Portugal many times for work I've always wanted to go to Lisbon for a holiday. It didn't disappoint. As a colour and pattern fan I found inspiration around every street corner. I loved the all tiled buildings and unusual combinations of paint colours and pattern around the city.

Spring greens

Green seems to be having a moment but it's always been a favourite colour of mine, it was also my Grandma's favourite colour and she also got married in green. Here are a few greens I've spotted and liked out and about recently. A dark, rich green wall at the Josef Franck's exhibition at the Fashion and Textiles museum, I love the floral patterned sofa against it. Josef Frank's Window textile print on linen, a garage door in Dalston and a green stripy grocery awning in Paris.

Indian summer

I'm loving our Indian summer in London (although I would rather be enjoying it at the lido rather than at my desk). It's made me think of my first trip to India 11 years ago. This was a super hot day spent at the Taj Mahal with my little sister Sally. Love the colours!
